Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 14, 2026

Website: https://traveltbr.com

1. Introduction

Welcome to TravelTBR! These Terms of Service govern your use of https://traveltbr.com. By using TravelTBR, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. Who Can Use TravelTBR

Readers of any age may browse TravelTBR without creating an account.

Author account registration is restricted to adults 18 years of age or older. By creating an author account — whether with an email address and password or through Google — you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

We may suspend or remove any account we believe was created in violation of this age requirement.

3. Author Accounts

Authors may create a free profile and list books set in or connected to U.S. cities and states. You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and book listings, and for keeping your account credentials secure.

You may only list books you have written or have the right to list, and you must have the right to use any images or text you upload.

4. Book Listings and Purchasing Links

TravelTBR is a book-discovery platform. We do not sell books and do not process payments. Purchasing links direct readers to third-party retailers such as bookstores and online shops.

When you leave TravelTBR through an external link, the terms and privacy policy of the destination website apply. TravelTBR is not responsible for third-party websites, their content, or their transactions.

5. Your Content

You keep ownership of the content you upload, such as your biography, profile photograph, book descriptions, and cover images. By uploading content, you grant TravelTBR permission to display it on the website so readers can discover you and your books.

You may edit or remove your content at any time through your dashboard.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Post content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others.
Impersonate another person or author.
Attempt to access another user's account or data.
Interfere with the operation or security of the website.

7. Account Suspension and Removal

TravelTBR may suspend or remove accounts or listings that violate these terms, including accounts created by individuals under 18, at our discretion and without prior notice.

8. Disclaimer

TravelTBR is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of book listings or the availability of the website at all times.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TravelTBR is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or from transactions conducted on third-party retailer websites.

10. Changes to These Terms

TravelTBR may update these Terms of Service as the website develops or legal requirements evolve. When changes are made, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page.
